Colosseo Vision LED displays and game presentation SMP technology used for Volleyball Nations League 2018 men’s final in France

July 09, 2018 - Lille, France

Stade Pierre Mauroy in the French town of Lille, set the scene last week for one of the most exciting volleyball events in the last decade - the FIVB Volleyball Nations League (VNL). This inaugural edition reached its spectacular climax when team Russia defeated France in a spectacular final last night.

Colosseo, as a partner of FIVB, provided complete technology equipment for the entire event, including large Colosseo LED VISION displays, court perimeter, scorer’s table and uniquely designed LED pillars, providing visitors with an unforgettable game show presentation and fan experience during this top-class volleyball event.

The content for all LED displays was managed and distributed by the proven and industry leading Colosseo Single Media Platform, a solution used by the leading sports venues across the globe. The displays – a large central one and two in the corners, were mainly used for the live video feed, advertisement and animations along with the scoreboard graphics, while the LED pillars and court perimeter showed player introductions, profiles and various game show animations and videos. Colosseo also seamlessly integrated all statistical information and provided a new level of infotainment using LED displays.
