About the Project
After installing Slovakia’s biggest football stadium LED screen with a total surface of 75 sq. m in autumn 2016, Colosseo as a main technology partner of MOL Arena, continued with the second phase of installation this February by delivering LED UEFA perimeter, LED door signs and the Colosseo Single Media Platform control system along with timekeeping, scoring and statistical solution.
Just prior to the first match of the spring Fortuna League season, Colosseo equipped the stadium with the latest LED perimeter display system compliant with UEFA requirements. 260 LED panels with dimensions of 960 x 960 mm and 12mm LED line spacing can be controlled separately, in sections or can be used as a single extra-wide super screen to maximize impact during goal situations and provide sponsors with maximum exposure.
Colosseo perimeter display system is weatherproof and fully redundant with an impressive consumption rate and with a total length of almost 250 meters provides excellent brightness and visibility for both fans and television viewers.
Other new LED additions to the arena are 3 Colosseo LED signs located over the entrances of the C-tribune. Featuring 16mm LED line spacing on an area of 3 x 1m provide extra advertising space for sponsors, but can also be used for a special moment of exclusivity, where the main LED screen, perimeter and all LED signs show the same pre-defined content.
All LED’s in the venue are controlled by the industry leading Colosseo Single Media Platform (SMP) incorporating 8 live camera feeds for instant replays and live video mixing & switching which was also installed during the second phase of installation. The SMP also controls all animated content and advertisements shown on the giant LED screen, perimeter and door signs.
Lastly, Colosseo delivered to MOL arena timekeeping, scoring and statistical solution which is easily operated from the Colosseo Timer console with a touch based and user-friendly interface – fully integrated with the Colosseo SMP.
