Sochi – 2014 Winter Olympic Games

ColosseoEAS was chosen over hundreds of other competitors to install a fully HD LED Octagon Cube in the second Ice Hockey rink for the 2014 Winter Olympic Games. The cube is controlled by a 16 channel Director HD with input from live cameras throughout the arena, showing instant replays immediately on the cube and screens throughout the arena and game presentation features like goal celebrations and virtual fireworks.  Additionally Colosseo supplied the rink with its HD video referee system to ensure that referees make the right call every time and an IIHF-certified time keeping system. In the VIP lounges and throughout the stadium, there is an IPTV system that shows everything from live action and instant replays to scores from other games and adverting.
