New olympic stadium in Paris is powered by Colosseo technology

The brand new Olympic arena in Paris has received a state-of-the-art technological upgrade from Colosseo.

A new indoor arena with a capacity of 8,000 spectators was opened in Paris under the name Porte de La Chapelle Arena or also known by its marketing name Adidas Arena. And it is this name, in the form of four large logos, that adorns the façade of the modern Olympic sports venue.

The logos consist of the Adidas brand symbol, supplied by ColosseoEAS, and a simply illuminated ‘adidas Arena’ sign, installed by a third party. The Adidas symbols are made of Colosseo Vision LED panels with a pixel pitch of 4 mm. Three of the symbols are 5.7 x 3.6 metres and the smaller symbol is 3.2 x 2.0 metres.

The use of high quality, high refresh rate 16-bit colour LED panels in conjunction with a world-class media content management software platform Colosseo Single Media Platform enables any type of content to be displayed, including live streaming of events inside the arena.

In addition to these attractive visual enhancements to the outer shell of the arena, other cutting-edge Colosseo technologies are installed in the bowels of the stadium.

The heart and brain of the entire arena multimedia ecosystem is the aforementioned Colosseo Single Media Platform – an integrated solution for processing, managing and generating multimedia content for sports venues of any type. It manages all LED displays and boards, infotainment devices, interactive IP TVs inside the arena, but also outside.

Better information service for visitors and VIP clients is provided by Colosseo’s network of interactive IP TVs, which use the powerful capabilities of the Colosseo Single Media Platform. A single connection point consists of a set-top box and an LCD TV. In total, there are 120 such connection points supplied by Colosseo in the arena.
