Colosseo’s new truly kinetic center hung videoboard is ready to make its debut when the Washington Capitals’ preseason gets under way on September 16th at Capital One Arena.
The massive structure is the largest board in the NHL and features a kinetic retractable component with a seamless, zero bezel, 360-degree canvas and more than 7,000 total square feet / 650 sq meters of LED display across eight distinct display areas in 4-millimeter pixel pitch and 4K quality.
The structure also features the global debut of the double-sided LED ring and underbelly which is part of the kinetic structure and sets a new trend in design which greatly enhances the viewing and monetizing options of the videoboard.
Colosseo also added two levels of 10-millimeter pixel pitch ribbon boards and 4 double sided corner boards and has now installed over 30,000 square feet / 2.800 sq meters of LED in Capital One Arena which is not only one of the busiest venues in the world, but also one of the most technologically advanced as well.
